Egypt is a beautiful country in North Africa. It is known for its history, graves and Neel River. People lived there a long time ago and it’s a fantastic place to travel.

History

Egypt has been over 5000 years. The first people in Egypt lived there and made pyramids, churches and idols that we still see. Kings and queens such as Tutankhamun, Ramses II and Cleopatra were known as Pharaoh.Egypt was later ruled by Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Ottomania. In 1952 it became its own country. Egypt is a modern country with a lot of history and culture.

  • Giza’s buildings are the most famous buildings. He was built over 4,500 years ago.
  • Sphinx is a huge person who looks like a lion, but has a human face.
  • It is a long river in the world called Neel that is important to the Egyptian past.
  • Temples and graves in Luxor are known as the world’s largest open -air museum.
  • The Karnak Temple is a large group of temples in Luxor.
  • Kings Valley: This is where many Pharaoh was buried, including King Tutankhamun.
  • Abu Simbel is the house of two huge rock temples built by Paraun Ramses II.
